Jean,
You should talk with an engineer who knows about concrete and the length
of time it takes to cure. You do not want to seal the concrete prior to it
being fully cured.
Douglas County Museum in Roseburg, Oregon, sealed concrete floors before
they were cured and the sealant had to be removed. You could call Stritzke
and Sons Construction Co in Roseburg: they did the concrete work. They
might be able to advise you also.

Subject: Collections storage concrete floor sealer

> Seeking information about sealing concrete floors in collections storage
areas. The University of Oregon Museum of Art is currently undergoing
> renovation and expansion. To seal the concrete floors of the collections
storage areas, the project architects have proposed Cementone Clear
> Sealer and Clearcoat, both by Scofield. The concern is with offgassing,
not so much initially, as the building is unoccupied, but when the
> collections and staff are back in the building and the sealer needs to be
reapplied occasionally.
>
> Does anyone have experience with the above products? Can anyone share
their museum's solution to sealing concrete floors in their storage
> areas? Any information, insights greatly appreciated! Thank you--
