Dear Colleagues:

I'm passing this on so I can say that I'm assisting the Constabulary in their
investigations. D.C. Cobb is referring to the rigid airship LZ 127 "Graf
Zeppelin", which flew from 1928 to 1937, including a famous round-the-world
flight in 1928. A photograph that shows "Graf" china may be found on page 166
of "Zeppelin: Rigid Airships 1893-1940" by Peter Brooks. Please forward this
whereyou will. I'm sending it to a few other lists - AEROSP-L, AIRCRAFT,
MILHST-L. With your help, we can put a stop to this case of Graf and
Corruption.

In a village called Cardington in the County of
Bedfordshire, England, We have R.A.F. Cardington. On this
complex there is a reserve collection museum for the R.A.F.
Museum Hendon, London. They restore and keep items for
Hendon, from buttons to complete air frames. Until March
1993 they also thought they had a small collection of Graf
Zeppelin crockery, but sadly when they went to get it from
storage, they discovered it had been stolen.

Description - four cups, four saucers, four plates, one
sugar bowl, one milk jug. They are all white with a blue
band and gold rim thereon. The logo 'LZ' is on each item.
They were made by Heinrick Eifenham, Bavaria in 1928.

I would be most grateful for any information you may be able
to give about these items, especially if you've been aware
of them being offered for sale since January 1991.

Please forward your reply to Bedfordshire Police, Greyfriars
Police Station, Greyfriars, Bedford, MK40 1HR, England, for
    the attention of DC.295 COBB.

                                  Yours faithfully,
