That was my reaction as well...SI gets no money but the event happens
anyway?  All that's going to be remembered (and endlessly promoted by
the Discovery Institute) was that the venerable SI/NMNH showed the film.
The issue of co-sponsorship, whether made explicit or not, will forever
be implied and the fact that it was an invitation-only after-hours event
will be ignored and then forgotten.
