SCIENTIFIC ILLUSTRATOR, UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA STATE MUSEUM

Bachelor's with major in natural history, life sciences, art
or related field plus two years related experience required; equivalency
considered. Must have ability to illustrate natural history objects
utilizing pen and ink, carbon dusting, air brushing, water colors and
acrylics.  Ability to execute murals and/or diorama backgrounds desirable.
Skills in photography, computer graphics software and model making for
natural history diorama desirable. Submit cover letter of application,
resume and samples of artwork (three ring binder with slides and B&W or
color copies preferred) postmarked by August 1 to:

Send original artwork at own risk. Artwork will be returned if postage and
packaging are included. $11.24 hourly.  Salary grade 904.
