At The Corning Museum of Glass we receive 12 paid holidays per year (New
Years Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans
Day, 2 days at Thanksgiving and 4 days at Christmas which includes the
25th). Our staff receives vacation based on years of service:
1 year but less than 3 2 paid weeks
3 years but less than 15 3 paid weeks
15 years but less than 25 4 paid weeks
25 years or more 5 paid weeks

We also have 10 sick/personal days. The Museum is closed to the public 4
days each year (Thanksgiving Day, December 24th, 25th and January 1). I do
not know how we work Sales department staff because someone has to work the
holidays like Labor Day, etc.

Jill Thomas-Clark
Associate Registrar.
