Hi all,

My institution is moving towards online purchasing for membership and musuem
store items (we currently have our store catalog on the web with mail-in or
call-in ordering). Given our staff limitations, we are concerned that we
might not be prepared to process a big increase in orders.

I am sure that many, if not most of you have made this transition. Are we
being overly optimistic about the powers of e-commerce? Or should we stock
up on the bubble wrap and boxes? Are you aware of any standard guidelines
based on current sales to predict what might happen?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Amy Cunningham
