The Tech Museum of Innovation
Corporate Development Assistant (Full-time)

The Corporate Development Assistant reports to the Corporate Support Manager
and is responsible for tracking and processing all donors and prospects by
producing reports, correspondence and fulfilling donor benefits.

Responsibilities

- Manage computerized corporate database including donor and contribution
records and donor prospect information - Track and implement corporate renewal
process and fulfill all corporate donor benefits
- Work with other departments to ensure that donors are being properly
recognized for sponsorships
- Update donor lists and work with the Graphics Department on signage,
invitations, donor walls, and other related projects
- Assume responsibility for implementing certain projects related to corporate
support including Corporate Recognition Month and Corporate Matching Gifts
- Reconcile cash income
- Provide administrative back-up for selected events
- Produce fund raising management tools such as mailing lists, labels, reports,
nametags and other materials
- Provide other administrative support to include filing, photocopying,
mailing, record keeping, handling telephone inquiries, etc.
- Work with volunteers to assist in activities outlined above
- Work as floor staff on specified assigned weekend days and a holiday

Requirements:

- 2-3 years of work experience required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
- IBM PC systems experience required; Mac experience useful
- Must be familiar with word processing and database programs (Windows,
Filemaker Pro and Blackbaud Raiser's Edge preferable)
- Analytical, efficient and detail-oriented
- Familiarity with general clerical duties
- Ability to work with highly confidential information in a fast-paced
environment
- Ability to work independently and creatively while functioning as part of the
Development and museum team
- Willingness to work one weekend day every other month plus one holiday
- Availability for special events as scheduled
- Bilingual is a plus

Salary: Commensurate with experience and skills

Hours: Full-time, exempt
