Ken,

Just one caveat about those high efficiency light bulb replacements
for home and office use. Those bulbs contain mercury and thus require
special disposal as a hazardous material.

I think that a many institutions would make a larger impact by
employing solar energy - I know that several states offer credits that
can cover half the cost of solar installation (I am not sure if this
also applies to institutions). Are there any musuems out there that
have chosen to go with solar? If so, what are the pros and cons?
