I had posted a message about a Apple Newton-based hand held
acoustiguide type product. I just received material from the
          company, called VISIBLE design corp.

The product is an *adaptation* of the Newton, with VISIBLE's
nameplate. It appears to be touch-screen, not pen-based, and
has extensive audio, text, and image storing capabilities.

There is no hint as to the existing applications. It feels
as though its just getting started. I sort of wonder what
kind of value is added with low-res graphics, other than the
          "game-boy" appeal.

Anyway, a few people asked me to let them know when I heard
more about this product. I have no basis on which to form
any kind of judgement, so call 'em and see for yourself, if
you're interested. (*NO COMMERCIAL INTENT, I'M NOT INVOLVED
WITH THE COMPANY AT ALL, PLEASE DON'T FLAME ME, PLEASE???).
