While trying to look into various options for dealing with our lack of
collections storage space, various board members suggested using a "Butler
Style Building." Since I am unfamiliar with this type of building, I am
hoping someone out there in the museum community will be able to give me
some pros and cons of this type of building.

At this point it is still up for debate if the building would be a brand
new butler style building or if we can convert a building we already own
into collections storage. Has anyone had any experience with using a
butler style building as a collections storage facility?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
