I am acquainted with an upholstery restorer here in the San Francisco bay 
area that is looking for a paid intern in his shop.  He has done excellent 
work for me (my own furniture) and has done work for the Oakland Museum, 
among others.  He is looking for someone to apprentice in his shop.  This is 
an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in furniture restoration.
