Research Centre refurbishment

Research Centre Reopening


The Research Centre is due to reopen in mid November.  The opening
date has been revised due to construction delays.


Researchers are advised to postpone their visit until the second half of
November and to contact the Research Centre before they visit.


The AWM official records service, which has operated at the National
Archives of Australia (NAA) since May 1998, will cease from Saturday
17 October 1998.



Collection information
The following sources can be checked before the Research Centre
reopens:
The Memorial's website http://www.awm.gov.au contains searchable
databases of photographs, films, books, private records, sound, art
and Roll of Honour
The NAA database, ANGAM, available at all NAA offices and soon
to be accessible through its website http://www.naa.gov.au
