Dear Chantal:

The Glenbow union (it is a CUPE local) elects a union member who sits as an
ex-officio member on Glenbow's Board of Trustees.  This practice was begun
a couple years ago, after Glenbow's reorganization, when there was a
movement to work in greater collaboration between management and the union.

Hope things are going well for you in Ottawa.  It was nice to hear from you
