Suzannah,

I have seen your message. I visited the web-site, saw the photos of
the work, and sent the web-site address to another List Serve to
which I belong. I am, among other things, an artist and am concerned
about the issue. Thanks for informing me, and hope others in my
"artist" group will take time to visit the site.

I found the work (Marianthe) quite interesting and was disappointed,
to say the least, about the treatment of this public sculpture. The
destruction was scheduled for February 6. Did it in fact take place,
and, if so, were there photos to record what was happening?
