     Dear List readers:

This request is being posted for Linda Ehreth,
Educational Programs Coordinator for the State
Historical Society of North Dakota. Please feel free
to respond directly to her off-List (address below). I
will pass any responses posted to the list on to Linda.

     ====
A panel discussion will be held at an upcoming
technology conference; this discussion will focus on
the need for new curriculum materials for teaching
North Dakota Studies in K-12 schools. The panel will
     present perspectives on these issues:

     1. Can quality curriculum materials be developed and
made available to ND teachers and students on the WWW?

     2. What potential does the WWW hold for developing and
delivering North Dakota Studies curriculum materials?

     3. What WWW resources that could serve as models are
     available already?

     4. How are other states using WWW resources for state
     studies?

     5. Should WWW materials be grade level/curriculum
specific? or developed around study topics?

Any responses are appreciated and anticipated -
Thanks, Linda Ehreth, Educational Programs Coordinator,
State Historical Society of North Dakota. E-mail
