The Amistad Research Center announces the availability of its
exhibition catalog "Terms of Endurance:  Living Legends in African American
Art," a joint exhibition featuring the work of Elizabeth Catlett, Jacob
Lawrence, and John T. Scott.
        Terms of Endurance is open from now until March 31, 1996.  If you
are anticipating a visit to the New Orleans area within this time period, I
hope that you will stop by the Center to view the exhibition.
