THE BRITISH ASSOCIATION OF FRIENDS OF MUSEUMS (BAFM)
ROBERT LOGAN AWARD 2000

This award (cheque for £100) is made annually to the person 
UNDER 25 YEARS OF AGE who submits the best paper on a 
chosen heritage-related topic. It is open to anyone under 
25 who is a member of BAFM ie individual member or belongs 
to an organisation which has group or institutional 
membership of BAFM. (If anyone needs to join to be eligible 
individual membership is £10).

The winner presents the paper at BAFM's Annual Conference.

The topic this year is:

'Encouraging voluntary support for heritage bodies'

Judging will be based on a synopsis (250 words max) showing 
the key elements to be included in the final paper.

BY 20 JUNE 2000

The winner will be notified by 30 JULY 2000 and the 
completed paper should reach BAFM by 30 SEPTEMBER 2000.

This year's Conference will be held at the Dulwich Picture 
Gallery, London on Saturday 25 November 2000. Reasonable 
travelling expenses will be reimbursed to the winner to 
attend.
Other speakers that day include Matthew Evans (MLAC) Sam 
Mullins (AIM) and Gillian Wolfe (Head of Education, Dulwich 
Picture Gallery).
