If you are answering an ad, and it says to address the letter to, say,
Executive Assistant Search or Human Resources Department, what do you put
in the line reserved for "Dear Mr../Ms. Whoever ?"

People say you should not write "To Whom it May Concern." But what else can
you do? Do you have to call the place of business and ask for a name? Or is
there a reason the name is not in the ad?

Thanks for any help.
