Hi Everyone

Hope many of you enjoyed American Thanksgiving weekend!

I am currently doing some work on some of the 17th century textiles that
were excavated at the Ferryland site, Newfoundland from the privy and I am
looking for some Internet references. In particular, any Internet sites
with pictures of 17th century costumes, be them in complete condition or
just scraps of material. we have a wide range of artefacts, including all
sorts of stitches, silk, leather (quite a number of 17th century intact
shoes actually that were dredged from the 'pool'), knitting, etc. Are
there any textile museums that have examples posted on the net?

Any info would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
Adrienne
