Just a tiny bit of information:
In Austria (Europe) we have 9 federal museums, attended by 3 million
visitors in 1998.
In Austria (still Europe), we have altogether about 900 museums. The total
visitor number is not known exactly, but it seems close to 8 million (thanks
also to our tourists). Accidentally, the number of inhabitants of Austria is
also 8 million (including babies, smokers and museum employees).

Peter, the informing Rebernik

Betreff: Number of museum and attendance statistics.

Does anyone know the most recent figures of attendance in the United States,
then in Europe. Also, the total number of museums in American, then in
Europe. Thank you, John Martinson
