THE SARTAIN FAMILY AND PHILADELPHIA'S CULTURAL LANDSCAPE: 1830-1930

A Symposium at Moore College of Art and Design, Philadelphia PA

Paper proposals are solicited for a two-day symposium on the Sartain family and
the cultural life of Philadelphia, to be held at the Moore College of Art and De
sign in April 1997.  The symposium inaugurates the sesquicentennial celebrations
 of Moore College, the nation's oldest and now the only art and design college f
or women.
