Also, another consideration is that the photographic negatives are really the
most important thing to preserve and they benefit from specialized storage
that is environmentally controlled, especially if they are old negatives.

Prints can be more accessible to researchers and the public and recieve more
vigorous handling - unless you have numbered prints produced by known artists
such as Ansel Adams!
