The High Desert Museum in Bend, Oregon has an excellent Teen Volunteer
Program.  It has evolved over the past twelve or so years into a highly
successful program, providing wonderful learning opportunities and
resources for the youth of Central Oregon.  I am speaking from experience,
having started with the program at the age of 13.  I worked my way through
the ranks as Junior Volunteer, Senior Teen, AmeriCorp Volunteer, Assistant
Director, and Music and Drama Coordinator.  I am truly greatful for my
experiences with the Program which excelled me to where I am today.  I'ld
