The 2nd edition of Nomenclature addressed this problem with a combination of
possible solutions. Check in your book page II-5 if you have one. The 1st
edition also tells what to do, on p 18-19. Basically, they suggest giving
it the object name and categories of the full-size item, but modify the
object name by adding, "Model" (etc.) In this case, BINDER, DESIGN MODEL"

Or, according to 2nd edition: either "BINDER, GRAIN - DESIGN MODEL" or
"BINDER, GRAIN [Design Model]" This second way is obviously a better
choice if there is already a suffix qualifier after the primary name.

Subject: Nomenclature listing

How would one classify using Nomenclature an inventors prototype of a farm
equipment
that is model size. Under what category and classifaction would one place
this object?
