Oh my gosh! Adults discussing events of the day on a museum email list! 
Who let *that* happen!

Given that the category 'museum' covers a very broad range of subject 
matter, but that generally it all sits within the framework of how (one 
or another) society describes or defines itself, now or in the past, I 
would expect that just as wide a range of topics would be of interest 
to the readers/writers of museum-l.

Judging from the spike of posting activity around these kinds of 
threads, I'd say that expectation is borne out.


If that's shocking, perhaps you should look up and out more often...
