Sorry, hit sent before I was finished.

If people are shelling out $2 million for a movie for a TV show that's
been off the air for a few years or $100K for a book for an online
game that only ran a year or so, then I'm sure museums and arts orgs
can use this to fund their projects as well.

If museums are going to move forward, they have to look to other ways
of funding besides the old methods of grants, membership drives, gift
shop sales, and donations. Crowdfunding is not just about funding.
It's also about a continuing dialogue with your backers. It could be
great way to continue that museum visit long after people have gone
home.

Just throwing ideas out there for people.
