For most of our permanent exhibits, we figure 20 years. For those with a high degree of interactivity (and mind you, they're built differently) 10 years.

What schedule do you use for the depreciation of permanent exhibits in your museum?  We are a children's museum so I realize there are many variables in making the determination, but I am curious to know what other museums do in their accounting.
