Hi Amanda,

While I was at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, we 
produced a traveling exhibit for children about a trail drive that 
included a mannequin in reproduction duds just as you describe.  Renee 
Tucker and the collections staff did the "dirty work" on the clothes. 
She should be able to give you some ideas.
