I started with the PunchPro! Professional Home Design
Suite version 4.5.1 and loved it so I upgraded to
Architectural Series 3,000 which is the program that
lets you scan images into the design. That was over a
year ago and I'm curious what an upgrade could do
today... I don't know how punchpro! compares as far as
ease of use but you don't have to know anything about
drafting or construction. It also comes with ready-made
plans that you can manipulate.
I can say what little time I spent learning was well
worth the effort. The program has more applications than
I care to learn, i.e. where to install the electrical
outlets in the wall, etc. but I like the versatility for
use in exhibition design.
I'm curious about other software people have used...?
