1.  Madeleine Kunin, Deputy Secretary of Education, will deliver a
keynote address at AAM Annual Meeting in Minneapolis on Monday, May 6.
She is expected to focus on opportunities for museums in school reform,
especially on charter schools.

2.  On Saturday, May 4, staff from Gov. Kunin's office will present a
briefing and panel discussion on charter schools at the Edcom leadership
workshop.  For information on how to register for that session, contact
Mary Ellen Munley, Chair, AAM Standing Professional Committee on
Education (Edcom) at 518-474-1569.
