I am trying to come up with a formal training program for new Collections
volunteers. For example, an orientation for new Collections volunteers
would be held every three months, and then we would train them in
cataloguing, handling objects, etc... This would be after a general
orientation that all new museum volunteers go through. Does anyone have a
program they follow for training Collections volunteers they could share
with me? Thanks.
