We're putting together a guide to help parents and kids find great summer programs at historic sites and institutions. There is no cost.

Our goal is to raise awareness of these programs across the country with a single helpful online resource for parents and kids, whether they're looking for a program or "camp" in their own city or town, or looking for the adventure of lifetime at a week-long camp across the country.

You can enter your program now. As with other event and organization listings on The History List, there is no cost to list.

Additional background on The History List:

- Launched in the Boston area in early 2012 and made available to all institutions in the spring.
- More than 200 history museums, historical societies, historic sites, and other history-related organizations are listed, and the number grows every single week.
- Among museums alone, there is a wide range of types, sizes, ages, subjects, and locations, from the USS Constitution Museum and the Massachusetts Historical Society to the Museum of the Confederacy-Appomattox and the Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum.
