As usual, I agree with Jay Heuman. :-)

His analysis of the issue of a university president's office or home display
of university museum objects is right on the money, and represents an
exception to the other home loans I had in mind.  In my more general opinion, I did
not include this specific issue, although of course it is the special case which
was addressed in the original question.  A university president's home is in
many ways a unique situation, although it might be comparable to certain
others in non-academic spheres.  Again, however, I would stress that adequate
safety and security in the president's home or office should be primary
considerations.
