The American Textile History Museum announces the following position:

CONSERVATION OFFICE MANAGER - LOWELL, MA

The Textile Conservation Center, a department of the American Textile
History Museum seeks an energetic individual to work in a busy regional
center serving the conservation needs of cultural institutions, historical
societies, and private collector's throughout the country.  Under the
supervision of the Director/Chief Conservator, this individual provides a
wide range of business and office management support for conservation staff
and clients.  Excellent communication, written, organizational and computer
skills required.  Duties and responsibilities include: financial record
keeping, word processing, formatting of technical documents, tracking and
billing of conservation projects, coordination and scheduling of client
contacts, answering general telephone inquiries, maintenance of project
database, accounts receivable and payable functions.  Requirements are a B.
A. and three to five years of business experience.  Knowledge of textiles
preferred.  Salary range $28,000-$30,000 plus excellent benefits.  Please
