Good morning friends-
One of our local winemakers came to me seeking information on "Wine
Bricks." Apparently they were made during Prohibition: blocks of
dried grapes (raisins) sold with a label that cautioned the buyer that
combining them with water, etc. could result in the creation of an
alcoholic beverage.

Information or addresses of wine museums (?) would be welcomed.

Laura Quackenbush
Curator

PS Leelanau County wines are quite good!
