In the Lower Mainland area of British Columbia, Canada (including many
cities such as Vancouver, and Burnaby) there are several 'sleep-over
programs operated by museums and similar organizations:

1. Burnaby Village Museum, ("Museum Sleepover") Burnaby BC

2. Science World, Vancouver, BC

3. Vancouver Aquarium ("Sleep with the Whales") Vancouver, BC

4. Pacific Space Centre. Vancouver, BC

Primary audiences are organized groups such as Cubs, Brownies. Burnaby
Village Museum also offers it to school groups but there has been little
response from them.

Basically these consist of programming after supper when groups arrive (e.g.
tours, activities, films), a snack (not too many liquids or washroom trips
in dark will be frequent); staff and adults with group to oversee it, light
breakfast in morning and pick-up by parents.

If you wish we can mail you samples of printed matter from our program.
