Quick (broad, I know) questions for the group:

What are some of the strategies used for maintaining individual
members?
What are some of the strategies for cultivating new individual members?
How does your institution cultivate and maintain corporate members?

Where/what is a good recourse for learning more about museums and their
members?

Finally, how important are individual members to the financial health
of your institution? And what are the challenges that face maintaining
members?

I know that these are broad questions but any kind of feedback would be
useful. I'm interested because I am being considered for a position in
member services, working to resuscitate and maintain a membership base
for an NY institution.

Thanks in advance,
CW
