Andrea,

I am not familiar with nationalism in museums in regards to Scotland,
but last year I took a course in university on natioanlism (Canada).
We went to the National Gallery of Canada to see how the layout of
the permenant collection represented Canadian Idenity. Also, we had a
great deal of discussion about how this was done at the Canadian
Museum of Civilization. It was very interesting. I believe that there
is written information regarding these two organizations. However, I
do not have it. You would have to contact them directly. Sorry, I do
not have the web addresses at this time, but would locate them should
