Hi Jim,
I make my own sleeves from mylar and place the panoramic photos either in the map case or I make folders from foam board and place them in there and on a shelf . If the photo is fragile I place a piece of blueboard behind it and mylar ontop for a little extra support.

Hi Jim,
I have dozens and dozens and dozens of panoramic photos (most of U.S. troops) some smaller than what you mentioned and some even larger, most from the 1910s, 20s, 30s and specially from the 1940s . What I use are the large document folders. I store most in a large map case. They are easy to handle and if I have a super long panoramic photo, I put two sleeves together and adjust to the right side (in length). The cost is not to bad either and they are easy to slide in and out of the map case when you need them. This also helps keep them flat. They always seem to want to curl back up. Hope this helps.
