A degree may get you in the door for an interview but it won't get you the job.
 Experience, in my book, counts for a lot. By experience I don't mean just time
put on the clock, but varied experience with original work, etc. (Not talking
about entry-level here). And, find that people with museum practices degrees
that do not also have subject matter expertise do not have enough background,
knowledge to do much of anything.
