I'm not sure if crazy quilts were included, but the Renwick Gallery (part
of the National Museum of American Art, Smithsonian Institution) recently
had an exhibit up on quilts.  Perhaps someone else on the list can provide
more info. or call the Gallery at (202) 357-2531.  Hope this helps.
