I am currently developing a pilot program for our new museum, which opens this October, for Upward Bound students (H.S. sophs., jrs., srs. from challenging backgrounds/circumstances to help them get into - and graduate from - college). I taught some of these students this summer and hope to move this learning into our museum, and the annexed smART classroom, after we open this fall.

I am admittedly not a trained Arts Educator (beyond teaching A.H. at the university level - but that's an entirely different animal!), but given that we are staff of 1.5 (and I'm the one), I have taken this on as well. I am happy to share my experiences if you think it of use.

Best, Jill
