My mother, a middle school Language Arts teacher (primarily 8th grade)
has raved about workshops at the Wadsworth Atheneum (Hartford, CT).  She
has subsequently begun to use art (including tie-ins with the Wadsworth)
more frequently in her lesson plans.  I'm sure she would be happy to
speak with you.  I'll send you her coordinates off-list.
