THEMATIC ISSUE OF CRM

                HISTORY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY


In December 1997 CRM, a publication of the National Park Service, will publish a
special issue on the preservation, interpretation and management of cultural
resources related to the history of science and technology.  The issue will
discuss resources maintained by the National Park Service and other public and
private agencies.

The editors would like to solicit information about any activities, programs, or
upcoming events related to these themes, both within and outside the National
Park System.  Notices of exhibits, publications, conferences, collections and
internet resources are especially welcome.  Although feature articles for this
issue have been selected, the editors will also consider proposals for short
articles or photo essays.

All information must be received by September 26, 1997.  Please send replies or
