I am a graduate student in museum education working on a proposal for a
program targeting single mothers in the Washington DC area.  I am trying to
locate some museums in the country that have offered similar programming for
single parents and their children.  I know there are lots of programs for at
risk youth and families in general, but I have had difficulty finding out
about programs directed at single parents, and specifically single mothers,
from lower-income urban areas.

If there are any museum professional who have worked on such a program and
would be willing to talk with me, would you please pass on your email address
