The National Air and Space Museum, Smithsonian Institution, is searching
for a Public Affairs Manager. Reporting to the Director of the Museum
and supported by a staff of 6, the Public Affairs Manager will be
responsible for conducting the public affairs/relations program. The
successful applicant will have public affairs experience in a large
organization at a level that directly influenced the overall Public
Relations/Public Affairs strategy. Applicants must have demonstrated
success in promoting public programs and enjoy established relationships
with various local and national media. Supervisory experience a plus.
This is a Federal Civil Service position. Salary range $58,027-$75,433.
