        Museum of natural history seeks an Assistant Director of Volunteers to be
responsible for managing all aspects of a large corps of tour guides,
including recruiting, training, scheduling, supervising, evaluating and
computer record keeping.  The successful candidate will demonstrate an
ability to work with both volunteers and professional staff in providing
administrative support for the department director.  Must have excellent
oral and written communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects
and be well organized and flexible.  There will be some weekend hours.
Salary in the mid $30's.  Prefer person with volunteer management
experience acquired in a cultural institution, a graduate degree with
strong science background or experience working in a museum of natural
