Hi Teresa

This might be too obvious, but you could try The Cloisters in New York.
They could probably direct you to the appropriate sources. The Medieval
Art Index at Princeton is useful too, although a big resource. The
magazine Gesta that comes out of the ICMA (International Center for
Medieval Art) is very helpful also.

Subject: Sources for Medieval Joinery

Would anyone have a source for validating types of medieval joinery,
esp. in casket-form (i.e. small wooden boxes, not the burial kind.)
Many thanks in advance,
Teresa Whitt, Director/Curator
