We wax the runners of our enamelled steel cabinets with microcrystalline
wax (Renaissance Wax). Wax both the drawer and the runner. It works very
well.

We have a large steel, enameled, cabinet with drawers 53 x 30 x 2". We are
having a terrible problem with the drawers jamming. They do not pull out
straight and then get jammed in the runners. When I contacted the
manufacturer they sent me some teflon tape, but that has made the problem
worse. Does anyone have any suggestions for something to use to make these
drawers glide smoothly. They hold painted wooden objects (retablos).
Thank you.
