Last year the Bob Jones collection had an exhibit traveling with many
of its best-known old masters, which I saw during its stay at the New
Orleans
Museum of Art. It was a phenomenal exhibit. Is it still travelling,
or are the objects all home to roost?

Leslie:

I'm so glad you enjoyed the traveling exhibition. It was a fine
effort on the part of Richard Townsend and the Philbrook to organize
the show for us.

The last stop on the original tour was Dayton, Ohio in December of
1995. The Ringling in Florida asked us to extend the loan to them
from Feb. 1996 until the end of March. After this, half of the show
went to the Georgia Museum of Art in Athens for the opening of their
new facility. They are all back to "roost" in Greenville, SC now.
FYI, another 30 of our paintings will be on loan to various museums
in Japan through 1997.
